That “iPhone 14The lineup is expected to be incredibly similar to the iPhone 13, with minor changes like camera performance and a new larger “Max” model. This is what the rumor mill will surmise the phones will look like.
So far, there haven’t been many rumors surrounding Apple’s standard 2022 iPhones. There are more rumors about what won’t be in the “iPhone 14” than what, with supply chain leaks focusing on the more rugged.iPhone 14 pro.”
A handful of rumors and some leaked charts provide just enough detail to get an idea of Apple’s latest developments iPhone Strategy. It seems the company may be looking to further widen the gap between the entry-level and Pro models.
That leaked charts show almost identical dimensions, a notched display and a dual camera system on the back, similar to the iPhone 13. after Mark Gurmanthere will be a new size class to replace the iPhone mini – the 6.7-inch “iPhone 14 Max”.
This larger iPhone would have the same screen size as that iPhone 13 Pro max but have the same cameras, display technology and feature set as the standard iPhone. This means users no longer have to choose a Pro iPhone just to get a larger screen size.
The iPhone 14 Max is a brand new device, so users looking for something of this size and with this level of functionality will have an obvious reason to upgrade, but it’s not clear what’s in store for the 6.1-inch just yet -model will change. If it has the same Super Retina XDR display, the same A15 processor and the same camera system, Apple will likely have some new features to earn the “iPhone 14” name.
Industry Analyst Ming Chi Kuo says Apple could increase RAM from 4GB to 6GB in standard models. This means that performance will be similar to the iPhone 13 Pro with its A15 processor.
Display’s supply chain analyst Ross Young has said that ProMotion will do so do not come to the non-professional iPhones in 2022 due to supply chain constraints. The year 2023”iPhone 15” possibly the first lineup with ProMotion on all devices.
Other things that stay the same are Face ID and the Lightning connector. Rumor has it that Face ID will appear under the display is not ready and the pill-and-hole cutout is exclusive to the Pro models, leaving the notch and sensor housing identical.
There are no leaks on other potential features yet, but Apple could bring features available in other products to the “iPhone 14”. One obvious upgrade is the ultra-wide camera, which gains autofocus so users can take macro photos. For now, macro photography is exclusive to the Pro iPhones, but only because the ultra-wide camera has gained autofocus and not because of a performance limitation.
There’s also a slim chance that Apple will introduce Center Stage for the iPhone selfie camera with an ultra wide-angle lens. Apple incorporated the technology into the iPadthat Macand even the studio ad. If Apple wants the feature to be ubiquitous, it will likely bring it to its most popular product.
